Frequently Asked Questions

Why rent a bike from cyclealmunecar ?

Renting a carbon race bike or 29er mountain bike is much easier than bringing your own bike; you don’t have to worry about carrying a flight case around with you or paying overweight on flights or risk damaging your own bike. Also you do not have to worry about the added hassle of transporting your bike from the airport to your holiday accommodation.

Do you provide a saddle bag and pump with bike rental?

We provide a saddle bag, which includes a tyre tube, tyre levers and a pump. A water bottle can be purchased for €5.00. Race bikes have two bottle cages fitted & mountain bikes have 1 bottle cage fitted.

Are helmets included?

We always recommend bringing your own helmet however we also supply Specialiazed Helmets with the latest MIPS protection System in sizes Medium and Large. These helmets are 10 Euros for the duration of your bike rental period.  These must be booked in advance.  If you currently use an XL or XXL helmet we  recommended you bring it with you on holiday.

What type of pedals do the bikes have?

All bikes are supplied with traditional flat pedals free of charge.

We offer the following pedals fitted for an additional charge of €5 for the rental period. Alternatively bring your own pedals and we will fit them free of charge.
