We can now offer the new Giant Defy Advanced 1 with Shimano’s recently launched 12 Speed 105 Electronic Groupset. The frame geometry allows the same relaxed riding position as the Ultegra Mechanical version.
The Giant Defy has the Shimano 105 DI2 groupset, disc brakes, 50/34 Shimano crank and a 11/34 cassette.
Handcrafted with Advanced-grade composite material, the Defy Advanced 1 with new Shimano 105 12 speed Di2 electronic shifting, is engineered with tube shapes that are optimised to absorb road shocks and vibrations. It delivers a lightweight, stiff and lively feel when you’re climbing, accelerating and cornering.
Each bike is supplied with two bottle holders, pump & a spare inner-tube.

Giant Defy Race Bike Rental
We selected the Giant Defy Advanced 1 as it is the perfect endurance bike for the challenging hills in the Malaga & Axarquia region. It’s geometry allows a more relaxed riding position that delivers maxiumum comfort with minimal impact to performance.

Our speciality is large group bike rental, so we also recommended that you book in advance to secure the model and size that you prefer. Upon receiving your enquiry we supply a list of bikes available in your size along with a bike fitting guide. This allows our rental bikes to be matched to your own personal bike. Of course adjustments can be made upon delivery!

Our Conor e-city bikes have a smooth 80nm mid-drive electric motor which multiplies your own strength making them ideal for a pleasurable and relaxed tour along the stunning Malaga coastline. The 504W battery gives you sufficient range to head towards the coastal resorts of La Herradura, Torrox or alternatively you could explore the beautiful inland white Andalucian villages of Frigiliana or Competa.

We offer Conor Borneo Electric-assist mountain bikes amplify your pedaling power while amplifying the amount of fun you’ll have on the trail. Go further, go faster, and go more places . These bikes have the ability to cover up to 120kms of assisted pedaling. Each Electric mountain bike is supplied with a bottle holder and a spare inner-tube.

All bikes are supplied with a spare inner-tube.
All bikes are supplied with flat pedals, we can fit and supply Shimano SPD, Shimano SPD-SL and Look pedals for 5 euros. Alternatively you can bring your own pedals and we will fit them free of charge.
Bike delivery and collection service anywhere in Almuñécar, La Herradura & Salobrena and surrounding areas. Bookings must be greater than 180 Euro and will incur a small delivery fee.
What type of bikes can I rent at cyclealmunecar?
We own and supply our own professional race bikes, mountain bikes, and electric mountain bikes.
What brands of professional bicycles do you offer?
All of our race bikes are manufactured by Giant Bikes and fitted with Shimano Ultegra Groupsets. Our mountain bikes are supplied by Orbea.
Is there a Free Delivery Service?
We offer a free delivery service on all bookings greater than 100 Euro. There is a Sunday delivery / collection charge. All we ask is to be provided with an accurate address or GPS coordinates.
Is Bike Rental Possible For Large groups?
Most definitely, this is our speciality! We deliver to individuals and groups of 30+.
What Is Provided On The Bike With Rental?
All our bikes come with a saddle bag. Each bag comes with a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump. A water bottle can be purchased for €5.00. Race bikes have two bottle cages fitted & mountain bikes have 1 bottle cage fitted.
Can I buy a bike at cyclealmunecar?
Yes, at the end of each season we renew our fleet to always offer bicycles in the best condition. Contact us for a list of bikes for sale.
Can another person use the rental bicycle?
No, the service is personal and non-transferable.
Are Helmets Included?
No, we do not supply helmets free of charge. We have Specialized helmets available at 10 euros for the entire rental period.
